Redington Freshwater Fly Rods
Redington Butter Stick V3 Fly Rod
This is Redington’s glass fly rod option. It comes in a translucent yellow blank with red accents. They use T Glass construction for increased strength and provide a better feel compared to other glass rods.
Featuring a throwback cork reel seat, traditional half-wells handle, and threaded lock nut, this medium action rod is all about memories of a simpler time. These rods are FUN.
4 piece rod available in the following sizes:
- 3 weight, 7′
- 4 weight, 7’6″
- 5 weight, 8′

Redington Trailblazer Fly Rod
As the name suggests, this rod was built for travel. The Trailblazer rod breaks down into six pieces, is extremely light, and comes with a compact rod tube.
It features an anodized reel seat, single foot reel guides to reduce weight, and a form factor that will fit into your backpack when other rods won’t.
Whether you’re fishing Alpine lakes or hiking the Appalachian trail, this is the perfect rod to travel. It comes in bright red with neon green accents.

Redington Crux Fly Rod
This is obviously Redington’s flagship fly rod, and in their own words, the “best rod we’ve ever made. It uses their Line Speed Tape for extreme distance casting and easier short and mid range casts.
The fine diameter blank and stiff tip increase rod recovery speed. They’ve used pre-compressed cork and an angled grip to increase durability and decrease hand fatigue.
The rod also features alignment dots, a double-anodized reel seat, and hook keepers in an Olive Matte finish.

Redington Classic Trout Fly Rod
Since fly fishing has historically been mostly about trout, it seems appropriate that Redington has an offering specifically for them. It features more forgiving medium action, titanium stripping guides, and custom machined reel seat components.
The clay brown rod comes in both 4 and 6 piece options to facilitate more compact travel when hiking small streams or heading to the local freestone river.

Redington Predator Fly Rod
The Predator is Redington’s answer for big flies, heavy, lines, and big fish. This fast action rod was built for carrying heavy flies long distances and fighting aggressive fish.
The anodized aluminum reel seat means it’s ready for saltwater and the optional sea spray finish reduces rod flash when stalking spooky fish.

Redington Vice Fly Rod
The Vice is Redington’s more affordable option compared to the Crux and Predator. It features a fast action for easy casting and anodized components to make it ready for saltwater and freshwater alike.
The carbon fiber blank comes in a green color with black accents. It also has the option for a fighting butt handle which may come in handy for the heavier models.

Redington Path Fly Rod
The Path is Redington’s entry level saltwater rod. It features a medium-fast action on a graphite blank.
It has wooden reel seats on 3-6 weight models and anodized reel seats on 7-9 weight modesl.
The rod comes in burgandy with gold accents and also features alignment dots and hook holders.
